Volunteering

As you may know, the Parent Teacher Association (PTA) is an all-volunteer organization that focuses its efforts, events and activities on education, advocacy and family engagement. It takes quite a village to make every child’s potential a reality by engaging and empowering families and communities to advocate for all children.

 

By joining PTA, you have already made a difference at Stafford Middle School. Joining is not the same as volunteering. While volunteering is not required, it takes plenty of volunteers to help out on the numerous activities that are planned throughout the school year for the benefit of our students.

 

That means that WE NEED YOU! There are a number of different ways you can help the Stafford PTA, whether it’s being fully involved behind the scenes or lending a hand every once in a while. You can:

 

 

To participate in a volunteer opportunity, you may need to let the PTA know or sign up for a specific event or task.

 

We thank you in advance for all of your volunteer efforts. We couldn’t do this without you!

 

Don’t forget to complete your annual volunteer background check through the Frisco ISD. This must be completed before participating in any volunteer activities at Stafford Middle School.

No effort is too small, and there are many volunteer opportunities available — at-home projects, opportunities for working parents, activities that require a lot of hours, and others that require a minimal amount of time.
